Notify me! is a Chrome extension that provides full-screen notification timers and scheduled alarms. It optionally integrates with Google Calendar using read-only access to display upcoming event notifications. All data processing occurs entirely within your browser — no data is ever sent to external servers.
When you connect your Google Calendar, Notify me! accesses the following data through the Google Calendar API (calendar.readonly scope):
This information is used solely to schedule and display notifications within the extension.
Your calendar data is used exclusively to trigger full-screen notifications at the appropriate times. We do not analyze, profile, or use your data for any purpose other than displaying notifications as configured by you.
All data is stored locally on your device using chrome.storage.local.
No data is transmitted to or stored on any external server.
Your calendar information remains entirely within your browser environment.
We do not sell, trade, or transfer your data to any third parties. Your information is never shared with advertisers, analytics providers, or any other external entities.
The only third-party service used is the Google Calendar API,
which is accessed with read-only permissions (calendar.readonly) to retrieve your upcoming events.
Google's use of your data is governed by the
Google Privacy Policy.
Calendar data is cached locally only for the duration needed to schedule notifications. When you uninstall the Notify me! extension, all locally stored data is automatically deleted by Chrome.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
You can revoke Notify me!'s access to your Google Calendar at any time through your Google Account permissions settings. You can also uninstall the extension at any time to remove all locally stored data.
